What do I need to know about bringing my pet to Polished Pups?
If you are visiting us for the first time, we will need you to bring proof of all vaccination for your pet. An entrance examination will be given by our certified care specialist. If fleas or ticks are identified your pet will receive an automatic flea/tick bath and or dip. We require this to keep Polished Pups the safest and cleanest grooming facility possible. Also, you can fill-out our new pet/owner registration form at our spa or you may opt to download the form online here. We recommend that you register with us so we can better serve you. |

Mobile Grooming :
This service is NOT currently offered. We are working hard to get this service to you as soon as possible. If you are interested in this, please register with our website and we will send you an e-mail whenever it becomes available.
Don't have the ability to visit one of our spas? We can bring our spa to you! Our vans are state-of-the-art mobile salons that will greet you at your doorstep with a smile. Our mobile groomers will treat your pet with the same loving care that he/she would get in our spa. Our vans run locally serving the vacinity of every Polished Pups location. Day Care/Boarding:
Need daily care for your pet? Your dog or cat will enjoy our Doggie Day Hotel. Whether they are spending time in the play area interacting with other dogs or cats of similar size or enjoying the warm human touch of our trained, caring attendants, every Polished Pups guest is pamped until they are picked up. Every pet is given their own quarters for sleeping an eating. Some of our facilities can provide private runs as well. Your pet will be walked individually at least two times during the day.
 Since each pet is unique, we ask that you fill out our registration form and let us know any special needs such as medications, special diets, exercise requirements, etc. At registration time, we also check your pet’s vaccination records. We require written proof of Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines. Vaccinations must be by a licensed veterinarian and must be current 24 hours before the pet arrives. Of course, you may use one of our local affilated veterinarians to update the vaccinations if required. Once your pet is registered, it takes just minutes to make a reservation.
You may bring toys, pets beds or blankets, but please do not bring anything uniquely valuable (things sometimes get chewed!)
Dogs may arrive and be picked up any time during normal spa hours. Reservations are recommended but walk-in's are always welcome.

Massages:
Throughout history, massage has been used routinely on dogs and horses as part of condition programs, to aid and hasten recovery from injury, to provide relief from soreness and pain and to calm and relax the animals who lived and worked alongside humankind.
To administer the most effective massage, a trained canine bodyworker must know a great deal about the anatomy of the dog, including the location and function of more than 75 muscle groups and the direction of fiber in these muscles.

Pet-Sitting:
Going away on vacation and not sure what to do with your pets? Let us help! We can come to your home daily (or more often at your request). With each visit, your pet is walked, exercised, and played with. We can "house sit" while we're there as well. Your indoor and outdoor plans can be watered, in addition to taking in the mail and picking up the newspaper.
You can relax while you are away because we care for your pets with professionalism and love. Our pet sitters are licensed, bonded and insured. If you'd like, you're also welcome to bring your pets down to your local Polished Pups Spa for day boarding.
